![]() It doesnt though unless you do the mounting procedure. Which is stupid because thats what that slot is suppose to do. It doesnt read the SD Card when you plug it in the slot. No matter what code i put to try to remember to mount the device, it doesnt.Īt least it works but you have to do the same thing with the SD Card if you have one. Then you can just select Switch to game mode and it will start the deck. If your hard drive unmounts again, you have to go back in to desktop mode, and mount to the bottom right again. It will also suck up your battery super fast so plug it in or you will have to log back in again. It does dim the screen if you are sitting there waiting for it to update but doesnt go into sleep mode. Then you press Steam button, go to settings, storage, and there should be the hard drive shown. I also go to the (.) 3 dots to the right, tick that and select make default. Once you select the hard drive that is shown there, you should see your drive shown, tick it and tick ok. This is after all of the tutorials getting the thing working from code in Konsole etc. If its not there, that means it didnt read the drive yet, means you might have to unplug and replug it in. ![]() I went to settings, downloads, Steam Library Folders, then with the drive not shown i ticked the + and the menu popped up. ![]() Then i went to Steam in the desktop mode and opened it. I got the drive to work by going to the bottom right where it would show devices connected, then i ticked Mount and Open. I was able to make it work but i had to do something a little different than what the guy showed but i did use the steps he did so 95% of it was from his tutorial. For some reason the deck couldnt install or download properly that or its the update itself that was slow (servers). ![]()
